As part of its ongoing engagement, a delegation from ASHRAE, including the ASHRAE President, William McQuade and Board of Governors of the ASHRAE Falcon Chapter UAE, met with H.E. Ahmad Bin Shafar. CEO of Empower to advance dialogue on the future of district cooling and sustainable urban development.
Discussions highlighted the progress of the District Cooling Guide, an important initiative aimed at transforming ASHRAE technical expertise into practical, implementable guidance for the industry. The focus remains on improving operational excellence, enhancing system efficiency, and supporting the region’s long term sustainability goals.
