DESCRIPTION:ASHRAE Falcon in association with AMCA invite you to attend a free seminar about HVAC Ducts and Dampers with the New UAE Fire & Life Safety Code. \nSpeaker: Adrian Browne\, General Directorate – Dubai Civil Defence \nAdrian Brown is a fire service advisor with Dubai Civil Defence. His primary function is to provide support and advice to the Civil Defence for operational intervention\, Fire preventative services and fire investigation. His role in this position currently involves the responsibility for the approval of fire-related equipment\, products\, and systems for DCD listing. This also includes the approval for all Dubai facade and cladding systems. Before arriving in Dubai Adrian spent 38 years with the Uk fire and rescue Service the last 4 of which as the director of the fire engineering and fire investigation courses at the UK Fire Service College. He was also seconded to the office of the deputy prime minister as the north of England project manager responsible for the implementation of TETRA radio to the UK Fire and Rescue Services. Adrian is a chartered fire engineer\, a forensic fire investigator with the international association of arson investigators\, a police officer with Thames Valley Police and also sits on the editorial board with BSI committee FH14 for British standards 9999\, 9991 and 7974.

He is responsible for the product business of the Building Technologies division which comprises of HVAC controls and fire safety systems. \nWalker joined Siemens in 1998 in Zug\, Switzerland as a commercial apprentice and held various managerial positions in the in the Building Technologies division at the company. He has worked in different roles in Switzerland\, Singapore\, and the United Arab Emirates and has 20 years of experience in the fire safety\, security\, and HVAC industry. \nWalker holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Business Administration and an Executive MBA International Leadership & Science from the FAU Nuremberg-Erlangen. \nLuca Baroli \nLuca Baroli is the Global Product Manager for Valves and Actuators\, based at the Siemens Building Technologies Headquarters in Zug\, Switzerland. \nBaroli holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering and started his career as a technician\, working in the Italian valve and actuators manufacturing industry. Over the past 15 years\, Baroli has been working within the HVAC applications\, with a specific focus on hydronic balancing\, developing products\, promoting PICV technology and helping the industry to better understand the impact of this new technology. \nBaroli has enhanced his professional experience\, by personally supporting his customers during installation and commissioning of many prestigious projects\, not only in the Middle East and the UK\, areas of main focus for his role\, but all across the world\, gaining a comprehensive knowledge of flow control related matters.
